DWARFLAB iOS 3.4.4 adds Draco imaging modes, with model-specific limits
The 26 October update lists SHO imaging for Draco SHO Edition and HDR for Draco. These release notes do not establish the same features for DWARF 3 or mini.
What changed
DWARFLAB dates iOS 3.4.4 to 26 October 2026. Its notes assign the new SHO palette to Draco SHO Edition, and HDR plus revised automatic deep-sky settings to Draco. These are developer statements, not an independent image-quality test.
What existing DWARF owners should check
The developer also lists a Sky Atlas framing-snap switch and an on-screen device serial number. However, the download page names DWARF mini, DWARF 3 and DWARF II under supported devices while several changes explicitly name Draco. An app-family listing does not establish that every feature works on each instrument.
Before updating or changing a purchase
Check the release notes against your exact telescope and installed firmware. The App Store confirms version 3.4.4 and repeats the developer notes; it is not a separate hardware test. Do not choose a DWARF 3 or mini on the assumption that it gains the Draco-specific imaging modes.
What remains uncertain
- Android release timing and feature parity were not verified in this check.
- Per-model coverage of the unqualified interface changes remains unclear. The app release does not confirm Draco shipping availability.
